Transmission

ESA2 has worked as part of the client side team on the planning and approvals strategy and approvals documentation for new transmission infrastructure in Victoria. The project required an Environment Effects Statement, Planning Scheme amendment and approval under the Commonwealth EPBC Act.

Some of the tasks involved included:

• Technical review of reports and deliverables

• Meeting with key government departments and agencies

• Management of subconsultants

• Participation in route selection workshops

• Early drafting of project description

• Participating in stakeholder engagement activities

• Technical research and reporting to inform key decision making

ESA2 has prepared approval strategies, State and Federal Government Referrals, and successful planning applications for solar and wind farm developments in Victoria.
