Extractive Industry

ESA2 has prepared, managed, and obtained planning permits for several quarry sites throughout Victoria. Applications have ranged from development of new quarry greenfield sites, to quarry expansion projects, and amendment to permit conditions and endorsed plans.

ESA2 has also obtained planning scheme amendments for extractive industry to modify zones and overlays in the Victorian Planning Scheme.

As well as preparing the planning permit applications, ESA2 has acted as the Project Manager for the client for several extractive industry projects. This role involved site selection, project scoping and project development, working with legal advisors, liaison with regulators and project management of the consultant delivery team. ESA2 also represented the client at community and stakeholder consultation events and meetings.
